Healthcare practice is continually evolving and so it should. We want to get better at what we do and how we do it. New questions are asked, and answers are found through research and evaluation.
Here at Healthcare Communication Matters, we are currently involved in exciting research and evaluation projects relating to healthcare communication. Currently, this is mostly in cancer services and palliative care and practitioner development.
We continue to seek funding to develop our Consultation Support Tool and utilise it in clinical practice and are working with an excellent team of academics in the East Midlands.
Working with experts from the University of East Anglia ImPACT group co-directed by Carrie Jackson and Professor Kim Manley CBE, we are currently engaged in a realist evaluation project with Marie Curie. Additionally, Lynn and Kim are working on a modified Delphi Project with Health Education England.
Additionally, Lynn sits on the Scientific Review Panel for Mesothelioma UK. Also, the Independent Review Board at Anthony Nolan in a voluntary capacity.

Along with colleagues from the University of East Anglia, we are working with Marie Curie Nursing Division on a large project to help with workforce development. We are providing a realist evaluation and research expertise.
We are conducting a study to explore the developmental pathway from advanced practice to consultant practice using a modified Delphi approach.
